Fostering Success & Significance equips students with critical resources to help them graduate college, achieve financial independence, and build fulfilling careers and relationships. We empower them to lead meaningful lives as leaders in their families, workplaces, and communities, giving back to foster youth and at-risk adults.
What we believe
At Fostering Success & Significance, we help students recognize their potential and achieve the life they’ve always imagined. The program is based on these three pillars.
CRITICAL RESOURCES
We equip students with essential resources, including financial scholarships, mentoring, mental health counseling, and workshops on financial literacy, personal growth, job readiness, and internships. While the college experience is vital, life beyond college is even longer and requires careful preparation. Our program focuses on helping students build the skills needed to secure meaningful employment, thrive in their careers, and develop healthy, lasting relationships.
COMMUNITY
FSS fosters a strong sense of community among students, mentors, workshop leaders, the student coordinator, and alumni. We achieve this through one-on-one meetings, group activities, social events, and outreach-focused community service. By encouraging our students to participate in community service, we inspire younger foster youth and demonstrate how good choices can lead to great outcomes.

LEADERSHIP
While graduating college is extraordinary, FSS goes further by emphasizing the importance of leadership. We prepare our students to become leaders in their families, workplaces, and communities. Their unique experiences and skill sets position them to make a meaningful impact and address the challenges faced by foster youth and at-risk youth today.
